Job Summary
As a full-time State Licensed Principal Scientist, the successful candidate will oversee non-clinical research activities for multiple projects in Translational Medicine/Preclinical Safety, ensuring compliance with study protocols and regulatory guidelines while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Formulates and leads novel projects, collaborating with teams to meet technical and scientific requirements
- Acts as the primary scientific contact for Study Directors at Contract Research Organizations (CROs) and oversees study progress
- Ensures compliance with GLP regulations and internal policies, resolving study-related issues and tracking timelines
Required qualifications
- PhD or MVSc/MS/M.Pharm with 7+ years of experience in drug discovery and/or development
- In-depth knowledge of toxicology assays in early development and safety pharmacology
- Proficient in techniques and processes used in drug design and development
- Strong logistical and planning abilities, with excellent communication skills
- Registration and certification with an International Toxicology organization
