State Licensed Prior Authorization Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Prior Authorization Pharmacist (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Perform case reviews for prior authorizations and complete Peer-to-Peer reviews with healthcare professionals
• Monitor prescription turnaround time to meet internal standards and client performance guarantees
• Provide drug information resources and assist in implementing process improvements for customer service

Required Qualifications

• PharmD and a pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum two years of experience as a pharmacist preferred
• Strong working knowledge of medical insurance terminology and processes
• Willingness to obtain additional state licensure as required for the position
• Pharmacy Benefit Management experience preferred
