Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy Counsel to support its global privacy program and compliance with U.S. privacy laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice on U.S. privacy laws and their intersection with product development and data processing
  • Lead cross-functional privacy compliance projects and support the implementation of privacy programs
  • Conduct training and raise awareness on privacy compliance topics across the organization


Required Qualifications
  • J.D. degree and admission to at least one U.S. state bar
  • 2-4 years of experience as an attorney focused on privacy and data protection
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. privacy laws (CCPA/CPRA or similar)
  • Experience implementing privacy compliance programs or leading privacy compliance projects
  • Practical, business-oriented approach to privacy compliance and risk management
