Job Summary

A company is looking for a Privacy and Compliance Counsel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement compliance programs related to technology platforms and data handling practices
  • Provide expert legal counsel on regulatory matters, particularly regarding data privacy and the DOJ China Rule
  • Foster cross-functional collaboration to integrate legal and compliance considerations into business processes
Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house at a technology company or in a law firm
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state
  • Experience in developing and managing compliance programs related to OFAC and anti-bribery laws
  • Proficiency in technology data systems and data lifecycle management
