Job Summary
To support leading technology and consumer goods companies, the remote State Licensed Procurement Attorney will provide legal advice on procurement matters, draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, and standardize contractual language while managing discussions with internal stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Advise corporate clients on procurement matters to mitigate legal issues
- Draft, review, and negotiate various complex commercial agreements, including IT procurement contracts
- Standardize terms and contractual language for operational agreements related to procurement
Required qualifications
- Active attorney bar license in good standing in a U.S. state or territory
- 2+ years of corporate procurement experience on an in-house legal team
- Experience with direct and indirect procurement, IT procurement, and supplier relationship management
- Proven ability to negotiate directly with opposing counsel on contract terms
