Providing comprehensive care for children and adults with eating disorders, the full-time State Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will conduct psychiatric assessments and medication management in a 100% remote telehealth setting while collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and ongoing medication management for patients with eating disorders and co-occurring conditions
- Implement medication treatment plans in a virtual clinic and evaluate medical risks related to eating disorders
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team and engage in treatment team meetings and supervision
Required qualifications
- Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
- Active license to practice in the relevant state(s) or willingness to obtain additional licenses
- Experience treating patients with eating disorders and related psychiatric conditions
- Commitment to evidence-based care and professional development
- Effective communication skills with patients and their caregivers
