Job Summary
To provide compassionate virtual care, the Remote State Licensed Psychiatrist will diagnose and treat various mental health disorders, manage psychotropic medications, and collaborate with healthcare professionals on a contract basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Assess patients through video-based encounters and perform comprehensive mental health evaluations
- Manage psychotropic medications, including evaluating patient history and treatment response
- Develop and implement behavioral health treatment plans while maintaining sensitive patient information
Required qualifications:
- Active and unrestricted M.D. or D.O. medical license in the state of residence
- Graduate of an ACGME-accredited psychiatry residency program
- Commitment to continuing medical education
- Comfort navigating video-conferencing platforms and learning new technology
- Experience with digital tools and platforms
