Job Summary
Supporting the development and maintenance of quality improvement projects specific to HEDIS Hybrid Operations, the full-time State Licensed Quality Improvement Specialist will provide clinical support for medical record review processes and train healthcare providers and staff remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Train providers, health plans, and staff in continuous quality improvement methodologies and HEDIS abstraction processes
- Monitor performance on established contractual quality indicators and analyze results
- Recommend and implement quality performance improvement plans (PIPs) and report on their progress
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Quality, or equivalent healthcare experience
- Valid state clinical license preferred (e.g., LPN, RN)
- Experience with HEDIS measures or NCQA standards
- Knowledge of quality improvement methodologies
- Ability to analyze and track performance metrics
