Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Adjunct Instructor for Introduction to K-12 Reading Instructional Methods.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
• Respond to students' questions and emails within the established timeframes

Qualifications

• Preferred: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction, Instructional Leadership, Learning and Teaching, Teaching Innovation, Literacy, Reading, or related field
• Minimum: Master's in Reading, Literacy, Curriculum and Instruction, or related field AND 2 areas of exceptional expertise
• Valid state teacher certification in literacy/reading or elementary/secondary education with endorsement in literacy/reading
• Minimum of five years of experience as a classroom teacher, reading specialist, literacy curriculum coach, Title One reading teacher, or RTI interventionist
• At least six graduate-level credit hours related to action research or research methods within the field of literacy/reading
