Job Summary

To support the growth of renewable energy initiatives, the remote Senior Real Estate Counsel will lead the origination and closing of real estate assets, manage deal pipelines, and negotiate commercial real estate transaction documents.

Key responsibilities

• Leading efforts to support the origination and closing of renewable energy real estate assets in the United States
• Managing a pipeline of deals and facilitating communication between pricing, origination, legal, and management teams
• Negotiating and drafting documents for commercial real estate transactions and overseeing due diligence activities

Required qualifications

• 6-12 years of experience as a commercial real estate attorney at a mid to large-sized law firm and in-house at a renewable energy developer
• Understanding of financing, development, and operation of solar, wind, and battery projects
• Juris Doctor and bar admission in good standing in at least one U.S. state
• Fluency with technology and remote work
• Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without visa sponsorship
