Job Summary
To support the development and deployment of innovative financial products, the full-time State Licensed Regulatory Attorney will provide legal guidance on regulatory implications, partner with cross-functional teams, and help integrate compliance considerations throughout the product lifecycle in a remote setting.
Key responsibilities
- Provide timely, business-grounded guidance on legal and regulatory implications of new product features and lines
- Advise on federal and state securities laws and regulations related to the company's offerings
- Draft and review regulatory documents, legal disclosures, and terms of service for products and services
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of legal experience in-house and/or at a law firm, preferably in financial services or fintech
- Deep knowledge of investment management law and securities regulation, particularly the Investment Advisers Act
- Familiarity with consumer financial protection regulations for consumer-facing products
- Experience advising on AI-enabled tools and automation systems in a regulated context
- J.D. and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
