State Licensed Regulatory Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Regulatory Compliance Counsel (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret state and federal insurance regulations, drafting and updating internal policies for compliance
• Manage inquiries, audits, and investigations from regulatory authorities, coordinating with external counsel as needed
• Assist in expanding the corporate compliance program and conducting risk assessments to identify compliance issues

Qualifications and Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the bar of at least one U.S. state
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in the insurance industry
• Experience in leading and managing direct reports
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now and in the future
