Key Responsibilities

• Provides administrative oversight to medical staff and analyzes medical review utilization data
• Develops claim adjudication criteria and educates staff on medical policy and program administration
• Conducts research on new medical procedures and technology while developing relationships with the medical community

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Doctorate in a job-related field
• 5 years of post-graduate experience in direct patient care
• Active state medical license and current board certification in a recognized specialty
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience in the health insurance industry is preferred
