State Licensed Renewables Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting utility-scale solar, wind, and battery projects, the full-time remote State Licensed Renewables Engineer will apply engineering techniques, develop accurate plans and reports, and engage with clients and design teams to facilitate the development stage of renewable facility projects.

Key responsibilities

• Applies engineering techniques and supports civil, structural, and electrical design workflows
• Develops comprehensive plans and reports in accordance with utility-scale renewables development practices
• Engages with clients to understand their needs and checks design computations for quality and safety

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program or equivalent
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
• 4-6+ years of relevant engineering experience, with at least 3+ years in utility-scale renewables design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Civil 3D; knowledge of PVFarm, SAM, GIS/ESRI, or similar software is a plus
• Permanent authorization to work in the US
