State Licensed Risk Management AVP

Job Summary

To support and strengthen the company's Enterprise Risk Management framework, the full-time State Licensed Risk Management AVP will lead model risk management and validation efforts, provide independent risk oversight, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the development and continuous improvement of the Enterprise Risk Management framework and assess key enterprise risks
• Lead independent validations of actuarial, financial, and risk management models while ensuring compliance with risk management policies
• Prepare and present risk assessments and validation findings to management and regulatory stakeholders

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative discipline
• ASA, FSA, CFA, FRM, or equivalent professional designation
• 10+ years of progressive experience in life insurance, actuarial, risk management, or related functions
• Demonstrated expertise in actuarial modeling, valuation, and capital management
• Strong knowledge of life insurance and annuity products, along with experience presenting findings to senior leadership
