Job Summary
To support pharmacovigilance activities, the full-time remote State Licensed Safety Physician will manage medical reviews of individual case safety reports, ensure compliance with global safety reporting requirements, and lead safety information presentations to various committees.
Key responsibilities
- Implement medical review of individual case safety reports (ICSRs) to ensure quality and accuracy
- Lead the preparation and presentation of safety information to internal and external stakeholders
- Develop and maintain safety documentation and support process improvements for ICSR medical review
Required qualifications
- MD/DO or international equivalent with a minimum of 8+ years of experience as a safety physician
- Clinical knowledge of oncology therapeutic areas and drug classes, with practical experience preferred
- Strong understanding of global safety reporting and pharmacovigilance requirements
- Experience in safety data analysis and writing related narratives and aggregate reports
- Proficiency in MedDRA coding and technical safety systems
