State Licensed Senior Associate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Associate General Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Support overall legal functions and respond to legal inquiries from customers, clients, and vendors
• Coordinate with compliance and privacy officers on related issues and investigate potential breaches
• Review, negotiate, and draft commercial contracts and provide legal advice for specified lines of business

Required Qualifications and Education

• Bachelor's degree and Juris Doctor
• Admitted to and in good standing with an applicable state bar
• Ten (10)+ years of experience in technology transactions, corporate, and health care law
• Experience with contract negotiation and drafting for technology and services businesses
• Understanding of managed care, Medicare/Medicaid regulations, and healthcare privacy laws
