Job Summary

Managing a specialized caseload of commercial property claims, the temporary remote Senior Claims Adjuster will handle approximately 40 existing claims for licensed cannabis operations, acting as the primary liaison between third-party administrators and carrier clients while ensuring compliance and thorough documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end process of commercial property claims from an existing caseload
• Act as the primary contact between the TPA and carrier clients, ensuring all reporting and documentation requirements are met
• Investigate various types of losses, analyze coverage issues, and negotiate claim settlements

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience handling complex commercial property claims, preferably in the restaurant, bar, or tavern industry
• Active adjuster license in the candidate's state of residence
• Strong knowledge of commercial property coverage interpretation and settlement processes
• Experience managing business income and extra expense claims
• Familiarity with insurance claims software and estimating platforms such as Xactimate
