Job Summary

To support the Claims Management team, the remote State Licensed Senior Claims Counsel will investigate and resolve title insurance claims, manage litigation, and collaborate with various stakeholders while ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations of claims and develop strategies for resolution, focusing on complex legal issues
  • Negotiate with claimants and oversee litigation, including engaging outside counsel as necessary
  • Draft agreements and training materials while assisting Claims Management with staff training and claim template development
Required qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate Degree
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. state
  • Minimum five years of experience in title insurance claims administration or real estate law
  • Proficiency in legal document analysis and interpretation
  • Basic mathematical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
