Job Summary

To support claims management in a remote capacity, the full-time State Licensed Senior Claims Counsel will investigate title insurance claims, develop resolution strategies, and supervise litigation while collaborating with various stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough investigations of claims and examine title for resolution strategies
  • Negotiate settlements and engage outside counsel as needed for litigation
  • Draft agreements and educational materials, and assist in training staff on claims handling practices
Required qualifications
  • Juris Doctorate Degree
  • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. state
  • Minimum five years' experience with title insurance claims administration or real estate law
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read and interpret legal documents and prepare presentations
