Job Summary
Managing the claims process for moderately complex commercial general liability construction defect cases, the full-time remote State Licensed Senior Claims Specialist will ensure timely and fair resolutions while adhering to company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, and resolve claims in accordance with company guidelines and applicable laws
- Review policy coverage and determine exposure based on contract terms and legal precedents
- Negotiate settlements with claimants, attorneys, and third-party representatives
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience handling insurance claims within the property and casualty or specialty lines industry
- State adjuster license where required or ability to obtain within specified timeframe
- Experience interpreting policy language and managing claim negotiations
- Industry designations such as AIC or CPCU preferred
