Job Summary

Assisting the Chief Appraiser with departmental functions, the full-time Commercial Review Appraiser Sr will review complex real estate valuation reports, ensure compliance with regulations, and procure valuations from qualified vendors while operating remotely.

Key responsibilities:

• Review complex real estate valuation reports for compliance with federal regulations and internal policies
• Provide detailed written appraisal review reports, communicating the acceptance, rejection, or modification of valuation work
• Procure appropriate valuation reports from qualified vendors while maintaining appraisal independence

Required qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 8+ years of experience in appraisal, focusing on writing/reviewing complex reports
• State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser License
• Ability to read and comprehend complex commercial appraisal reports
• Clear and concise communication skills for report writing and stakeholder interaction
