State Licensed Senior Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel, US Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance to executive leadership and the Board of Directors
• Oversee the full lifecycle of commercial contracting and collaborate with Sales leadership to enhance deal processes
• Serve as the HIPAA Compliance Officer and GDPR Data Protection Officer, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active license to practice law in at least one U.S. state
• 10-15+ years of legal experience, preferably in SaaS, software, or healthcare technology
• Expertise in HIPAA, GDPR, and healthcare compliance regulations
• Strong command of employment law fundamentals and experience with sensitive employee relations matters
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new tools quickly
