State Licensed Senior Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Corporate Counsel (4 month Fixed-Term Contract).

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial agreements, including SaaS contracts and NDAs
• Provide legal advice to stakeholders across multiple departments while managing legal risks
• Support compliance matters and improve legal processes and templates for efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or equivalent law degree; active law license in at least one jurisdiction
• 6-10+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably in-house in SaaS or regulated technology
• Experience managing complex legal matters independently
• Strong understanding of data privacy laws and regulatory compliance frameworks
• Proven ability to balance legal risks with commercial objectives in a fast-paced environment
