State Licensed Senior Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing legal team, the full-time State Licensed Senior Corporate Counsel will manage various IP-related matters, provide legal advice to executives, and oversee the company's global IP portfolio in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with senior leadership to provide legal guidance on IP strategy, risk assessment, and enforcement matters
• Facilitate trademark clearance searches and manage third-party IP-related disputes, including litigation
• Negotiate and structure trademark license agreements and provide support on IP-related matters pertaining to M&A activity

Required qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice in at least one US jurisdiction
• 8-12 years of IP experience, including both law firm and in-house roles
• Experience with litigation and patents is a plus but not required
• Strong organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Creative problem-solving abilities and a strong sense of integrity
