State Licensed Senior Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

Leading contract development and management initiatives, the remote Senior Corporate Counsel in Contracts will independently draft, review, negotiate, and manage various contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies and providing practical legal advice across multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage in-house and third-party contracts, including various agreements such as product distribution and clinical trial agreements
• Identify legal issues and business risks, communicating them effectively to internal decision-makers for resolution
• Train business teams on contract templates and best practices while enhancing the company's contract management system

Required qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with 8+ years of directly related experience
• Minimum of 3 years' experience at an AM Law 100 firm and 4+ years as in-house counsel
• Extensive experience with drafting and negotiating CDA, MSA, and SOW agreements
• Must be admitted to practice in the state of residence
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is a plus
