Job Summary

Providing hands-on legal counsel, the full-time State Licensed Senior Corporate Counsel will collaborate with key stakeholders to offer strategic advice on compliance, consumer protection, and contract negotiations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general legal counsel and advice to non-attorney business stakeholders
• Negotiate, review, and draft various commercial and employment contracts
• Manage potential or ongoing litigation and perform ad hoc legal research

Required qualifications

• Active, good standing license with at least one U.S. state bar
• General corporate experience at a law firm or in-house legal department
• Experience in reviewing and negotiating complex commercial and employment contracts
• Knowledge of U.S. and Canadian employment, consumer protection, and data privacy laws
• Litigation experience or litigation management skills
