State Licensed Senior Corporate Counsel and Political Law Attorney

Job Summary

A company is looking for a State Licensed Senior Corporate Counsel and Political Law Attorney.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and support for Pay-to-Play, Lobbying, Gifts and Entertainment to Government Officials, Conflicts of Interests, and Corporate Political Activity
• Counsel business lines, government relations, and compliance on government interactions and political law-related issues
• Review PAC disbursements, provide legal advice on corporate political activities, and identify legal and reputational risks associated with government interactions

Required Qualifications:

• Licensed by and in good standing with the appropriate state bar association or other appropriate state attorney licensing authority
• Five or more years of legal experience in federal, state, and local Pay-to-Play laws, lobbying registration and reporting laws, gift/bribery laws, conflict of interest or related areas
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple time-sensitive research requests simultaneously and work with minimal supervision
• Experience in providing exceptional support to senior leaders and reviewing compliance with applicable policy and law
• Strong oral and written communication skills
