State Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel to provide strategic legal and regulatory leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates complex technology agreements and advises on contract structure and risks
• Serves as a legal expert on healthcare laws and regulations, providing guidance on compliance and privacy issues
• Collaborates with business partners and compliance stakeholders to support regulatory initiatives and training programs

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law
• 10 years of experience as a practicing attorney, including in-house legal department experience
• Significant experience negotiating complex commercial transactions, including SaaS agreements
• Experience managing the work of others and providing counsel on compliance issues
• Preferred experience with HIPAA and supporting CMS programs
