State Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel to ensure compliance with evolving laws and regulations pertaining to privacy and AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain expertise in data use and protection laws, advising on complex legal matters
• Support the data privacy and compliance team in implementing measures for compliance with applicable laws
• Supervise, mentor, and train legal team members while leading various legal initiatives and projects

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school
• Seven or more years of related work experience
• Member in good standing of at least one State Bar or the District of Columbia Bar
• Experience advising on domestic and global privacy laws and frameworks
• Five or more years of privacy or product counseling experience, ideally with both in-house and law firm exposure
