State Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

To support its legal department, a full-time State Licensed Senior Counsel will provide legal advice on marketing compliance and commercial contracts, including reviewing marketing materials for adherence to advertising laws and drafting technology agreements, all in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary legal reviewer for marketing collateral, ensuring compliance with FTC advertising laws and intellectual property requirements
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial technology contracts, focusing on SaaS and software licensing agreements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide timely legal advice and support business objectives while managing legal risks

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing of at least one state bar
• Five to seven years of legal experience with a focus on advertising law compliance and commercial contract negotiation
• Experience reviewing marketing materials for compliance with FTC regulations and intellectual property laws
• Hands-on experience with SaaS agreements and a strong understanding of intellectual property principles related to technology transactions
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
