State Licensed Senior Counsel

Job Summary

To support a growing capital markets practice, the full-time State Licensed Senior Counsel will manage complex commercial transactions, focusing on crypto exchange partnerships and institutional capital markets agreements while collaborating with global deal teams in a dynamic legal environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a trusted legal partner to the capital markets business development team, facilitating communication and collaboration across global deal teams
• Structure, negotiate, and draft complex agreements related to crypto, fintech, and capital markets, addressing legal risks to enhance commercial partnerships
• Support the creation of contract templates and processes to improve efficiency and consistency in capital markets transactions

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of legal experience in capital markets, crypto, or financial services
• 3+ years of experience at a top-tier law firm
• J.D. (or foreign equivalent) and active membership in at least one U.S. State Bar
• Extensive experience drafting and negotiating complex capital markets agreements
• Familiarity with TradFi capital markets concepts and their intersection with digital asset ecosystems
