State Licensed Senior Director of Transactions

Job Summary

Seeking a State Licensed Senior Director of Transactions in a full-time capacity, this role will manage post-execution legal aspects of license, collaboration, and M&A agreements, while preparing and negotiating complex R&D and commercial contracts, and providing legal support for Lilly Research Labs projects, with the option to work remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead legal aspects of post-execution agreements, including governance and dispute resolution
• Draft, negotiate, and resolve sophisticated legal issues related to R&D and commercial agreements
• Provide legal and contract support for specified therapeutic areas within Lilly Research Labs

Required Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) and licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. state
• Minimum of 7 years of legal experience in drafting and negotiating sophisticated transactions
• Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis
• Experience in the life sciences industry, particularly in R&D and commercial contracting
• Proven ability to identify and creatively resolve legal issues in complex transactions
