Job Summary
To support a growing team, the full-time State Licensed Senior Engineering Specialist will manage capital projects related to complex waterway structures, overseeing design and bidding processes while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Scope and oversee capital projects from concept through construction, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
- Conduct site investigations and manage the preparation of construction specifications and bid documents for municipal clients
- Mentor engineering staff and provide expert guidance on the design of waterway structures
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
- 15+ years of related water engineering experience
- PE license is required
- Proficiency in structural engineering software such as SAP2000 or STAAD.Pro
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software
