State Licensed Senior IP Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Intellectual Property.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop strategies to defend the company in high-stakes IP disputes
• Shape the company's patent portfolio strategy and manage patent preparation and prosecution
• Engage in thought leadership and advise on legislative and judicial developments in IP

Required Qualifications

• Current license in a U.S. state with a JD or equivalent and 5+ years of patent preparation and prosecution and/or patent litigation experience
• Deep knowledge of crypto or the ability to become a crypto expert
• Experience in the crypto industry is a plus, but not required
• High degree of self-sufficiency and ability to make independent judgments
• Action-oriented mindset with the ability to deliver impact within the first 90 days
