Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel I to provide legal advice and counsel across various business lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead legal resource for Strategic Sourcing, focusing on vendor contracting and sourcing
• Provide legal advice on vendor-related risks and participate in vendor management committees
• Develop contract templates, policies, and conduct training and process improvement activities

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• 5+ years of legal experience in the healthcare industry
• 8+ years of experience in a law firm, corporate, or government setting
• Admitted to practice law in at least one state
• General knowledge of the managed healthcare industry and regulatory environment
• JD - Law degree required
