Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer for the Data Center and Mission Critical team, offering a remote work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design Heat Rejection and HVAC systems tailored for data centers, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Select appropriate cooling systems based on specific data center requirements and conduct CFD analysis for airflow optimization
• Design HVAC systems with redundancy features and perform heat load calculations for capacity planning and energy efficiency

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience
• Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation
• P.E. registration is required
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field; advanced coursework in HVAC systems is a plus
• Knowledge of data center standards such as Uptime Institute and ANSI/BICSI 002 is preferred
