Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer for Data Centers, working remotely in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design Heat Rejection and HVAC systems tailored for data centers, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Select appropriate cooling systems and conduct CFD analysis to optimize airflow and cooling efficiency
• Design HVAC systems with redundancy and energy-efficient strategies while ensuring optimal air quality and collaboration with other engineering disciplines

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience
• Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation
• P.E. registration is required
• Knowledge of data center standards such as Uptime Institute and TIA 942
• Professional certifications related to HVAC engineering are preferred
