State Licensed Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer for Data Centers, offering a remote work schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop Heat Rejection and HVAC systems for data centers, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Select appropriate cooling systems and conduct CFD analysis to optimize airflow and cooling efficiency
• Implement energy-efficient design strategies and ensure air quality through appropriate filtration systems

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education and experience
• Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation
• P.E. registration is required
• Preferred bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC engineering, or a related field; master's degree is a plus
• Knowledge of data center standards such as Uptime Institute and TIA 942 is advantageous
