State Licensed Senior Mechanical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Mechanical Designer for the Data Center and Mission Critical team.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and design Heat Rejection and HVAC systems tailored for data centers, ensuring compliance with industry standards
• Select appropriate cooling systems and conduct CFD analysis to optimize airflow and cooling efficiency
• Design HVAC systems with redundancy and fault tolerance to ensure continuous operation during maintenance or equipment failure

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or equivalent education/experience
• Experience in data center mechanical and electrical equipment installation and operation
• P.E. registration is required
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC engineering, or related field; advanced coursework is advantageous
• Knowledge of data center standards such as Uptime Institute and ANSI/BICSI 002 is preferred
