State Licensed Senior Medical Auditor

Job Summary

To support audit services, the full-time remote State Licensed Senior Medical Auditor will validate clinical documentation, prepare audit findings, and maintain production and quality standards while collaborating on process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Audit medical records to ensure compliance with clinical documentation requirements and quality standards
• Prepare detailed audit summary findings and recommendations for project leads and management
• Collaborate with the team to identify process improvement opportunities and support departmental key performance indicators

Required qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of auditing experience in multiple specialties
• Certification as CPC & CPMA, RHIT, or CPMATM
• Extensive knowledge of AMA, OIG, CMS, and national coding and compliance guidelines
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word
• Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a sense of urgency
