Job Summary
To support audit services, the full-time remote State Licensed Senior Medical Auditor will validate clinical documentation, prepare audit findings, and maintain production and quality standards while collaborating on process improvements.
Key responsibilities
- Audit medical records to ensure compliance with clinical documentation requirements and quality standards
- Prepare detailed audit summary findings and recommendations for project leads and management
- Collaborate with the team to identify process improvement opportunities and support departmental key performance indicators
Required qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of auditing experience in multiple specialties
- Certification as CPC & CPMA, RHIT, or CPMATM
- Extensive knowledge of AMA, OIG, CMS, and national coding and compliance guidelines
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel and Word
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a sense of urgency
