State Licensed Senior Staff Provider

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time Senior Staff Provider will facilitate intakes and provide enhanced medical support through telemedicine, ensuring member safety and engagement during early recovery while collaborating with a team of providers and counselors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake medical duties and determine members' medical necessity for treatment, including prescribing appropriate medications
• Provide longitudinal maintenance care and collaborate with other providers to transition new members into regular maintenance groups
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and ensure compliance with organizational policies and regulations

Required qualifications

• Physician (MD/DO) with a license in good standing
• DEAX (DATA) waiver
• 2+ years of experience managing patients with buprenorphine in a team-based care setting
• 5+ years of experience working with a similar member population, preferably in primary care or behavioral health
• Willingness to obtain necessary state licensure and credentialing within specified timeframes
