State Licensed Senior Staff Provider

Job Summary

To support a growing practice, the full-time State Licensed Senior Staff Provider will facilitate intakes and provide enhanced medical support through telemedicine, ensuring member engagement and safety during early recovery while collaborating with a team of providers and counselors.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake medical duties and determine members' medical necessity for treatment, prescribing medications as appropriate
• Provide longitudinal maintenance care and coordinate with community providers for successful member transitions
• Deliver medical supervision and operational support for Access Staff Providers, ensuring continuity of care and compliance with policies

Required qualifications

• Physician (MD/DO) with a license in good standing
• DEAX (DATA) waiver
• 2+ years of experience managing patients with buprenorphine, preferably within the Groups Recovery System
• 5+ years of experience working with a similar member population in a primary care or behavioral health setting
• Willingness to obtain licensure in multiple states as required
