Job Summary

A company is looking for a STAGES Sign Language Interpreter.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and transliterate academic content for students who are D/HH in a virtual setting
• Collaborate with educational teams to ensure compliance with students' IEPs and support their academic needs
• Provide interpretation for school activities and maintain positive relationships with students and staff

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience interpreting in an educational environment
• Minimum 1 year of experience providing interpreting services virtually
• National Interpreter Certification or state-specific educational interpreter licensure
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional home office
• Experience supporting students identified as D/HH is desired but not required
