State Licensed Sign Language Interpreter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sign Language Interpreter - Contractor.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and transliterate academic content for students who are D/HH in a virtual setting
• Collaborate with school staff to ensure compliance with students' Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide language support during classroom instruction and school activities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience interpreting in an educational environment
• Minimum 1 year experience providing interpreting services virtually
• National Interpreter Certification or state-specific educational interpreter licensure
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional home office
• Availability during typical school hours of at least 20 hours per week
