State Licensed Special Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Special Counsel, Digital Assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on legal structures and regulatory considerations for digital asset issuance and custody frameworks
• Partner with Product and Engineering teams to support the design and launch of new platform features
• Independently lead legal support for complex product initiatives, balancing innovation and risk mitigation

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of legal experience, preferably in fintech, crypto, or financial services
• Deep experience with digital asset products and blockchain-based systems
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks impacting digital assets and AI-enabled technologies
• JD or equivalent with active membership in at least one U.S. state bar
• Ability to independently lead high-impact legal initiatives across cross-functional teams
