State Licensed Specialty Pharmacist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Specialty Consultative Pharmacist.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive medication reviews and provide disease state counseling to enrolled patients
• Conduct inbound and outbound calls to discuss medication therapy, side effects, and adverse event reporting
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, check for drug interactions, and evaluate therapy appropriateness using electronic resources

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy (Bachelor of Science or PharmD)
• Active PHARMACIST license from Florida, Texas, Ohio, or Arizona Board of Pharmacy
• 3 or more years of experience as a pharmacist in a high-volume pharmacy environment
• Ability to participate in Federal prescription programs
• Proficient with computers and troubleshooting technology issues
