Job Summary

A company is looking for a Specialty Staff Pharmacist - PRN.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret and verify physician orders and ensure prescription accuracy before the end of each business day
• Communicate with physicians and maintain direct communication with patients and caregivers regarding medication and care
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure quality control of medications and patient education

Required Qualifications

• One year of pharmacy experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of employment
• Proficiency in managing and dispensing specialty medications
• Ability to assume responsibilities in the absence of the Pharmacy Manager
