Job Summary
Supporting patients with hemophilia, the full-time State Licensed Specialty Pharmacist will ensure access to specialized therapies, provide patient counseling, and manage medication therapy remotely from Florida, Texas, Missouri, California, or Michigan.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure patients receive the correct medication and provide education on usage and treatment plans
- Conduct drug utilization reviews and resolve potential therapy-related concerns
- Collaborate with clinics to clarify and obtain prescriptions while managing pharmaceutical services
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Pharm D with 3+ years of pharmacy experience
- Active pharmacist license in Florida, Texas, Missouri, California, or Michigan
- Experience in hemophilia pharmacy is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of drug therapy management and patient care
- Ability to participate in performance improvement projects and training programs
