Job Summary
To support a dedicated humanitarian immigration practice, the remote State Licensed Staff Attorney will review immigration applications, perform legal research, and assist with court-related filings while following guidance from senior attorneys.
Key responsibilities
- Review draft immigration court-related filings, including motions and briefs, as instructed by Senior Attorneys
- Identify, track, and edit necessary documents prior to submission, ensuring accuracy in court filings
- Meet daily goals on reviewing high-volume court-related matters and communicate effectively with team members regarding updates
Required qualifications
- J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and active membership in good standing of a state bar
- Ability to follow detailed directions
- Experience with case management software is preferred
- Interest in immigration law is preferred
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and document management systems
